La poética de la casa

Mi conocimiento como artista es también un poder de captación. La idea detrás es organizar pequeños encuentros de grupos de tamaño corto con la población local, compartiendo con ellos algunas técnicas simples basados en prácticas de performance, como los rituales sociales seculares que mejoran una experiencia poética de lo que es una reunión de personas. Mi idea es también orientar estas reuniones hacia la idea de que el artista, en su posición de un extraño, como alguien que puede tomar el lugar del “sanador” , el canalizador de las tensiones y los conflictos, subvirtiéndolas, que muestra una diferente manera de presentarlos. Para entender la relación entre fingiendo y el conocimiento, para cerrar posiciones políticas con el arte en directo a través del concepto de comunidad y la práctica común.

 

The coconut girl.
Short after arriving to visit one of the local communities of Puerto Escondido, that grows coconut and use all of its parts for different ends, i meet a girl.
Very fast she start to explain about the process of growing the fruit and made me eat all parts from it. wile explaining me about the pain of being bitten by a mosquito and how this took her power to run after chickens. She very seriously turn to me and said ” You know we are very poor but we work hard” I did not know what to tell her, and reply “You are rich because you have the knowledge of the land.” She took me to visit her house, her room, her animals. she show me her drawings and school work. She told me her biggest fear is not to have enough paper to draw. I stand silent and promise we will see each other again.
